Welcome to The Neem Tree Udaipur. A new eight bedroom boutique retreat located
in the heart of the old city of Udaipur. Created in traditional Indian style
with eco tourism in mind.
Local craftsmen have created the ornate exterior
architecture which complements the minimalist interior décor. Solar powered
heated water, energy saving lighting and wooden and stone materials have been
utilised where possible in preference to plastic. Our aim is to be sustainable,
ethical and responsible.
Enjoy the tranquil courtyard with a magnificent neem tree
and turquoise swimming pool, take a rooftop yoga class or ayurvedic massage and explore the
amazing rajasthani heritage and culture of Udaipur.
The Neem Tree offers eight unique spacious bedrooms with
en-suite shower rooms. Each has
beautifully carved stone windows and hand carved furniture. Our rooftop has a
spectacular view of the City Palace and panoramic city views can be seen from
the higher viewpoint.
Dine in the shade of the neem tree, in the bar, in the
secluded inner courtyard or on the rooftop. We serve simple, but delicious,
freshly prepared healthy food using locally sourced organic produce when
available. We also cater for special
diets if required. We currently only provide breakfast to guests.
We seek to provide an unforgettable authentic indian
experience with modern comforts, far beyond Marigold Hotel expectations. We
offer affordable quality with personal service.
We are a short walk, through the narrow streets of the
bustling bazaar, to the City Palace, Pichola Lake and Jagdish Temple. Transport
can be arranged from the airport or train station, as well as tours within and
beyond the city.
